Well I was first exposed to solar radiation F# alt. w/B
When I was just a kid down at the beach F#, C#
Well it turned my skin my skin bright red hold C#
And that night when I went to bed
Well it hurt so bad that I couldn’t hardly sleepC#, F# alt. w/B
The next day the skin was peeling off my body
And I cried and screamed and ran to tell my MomF#, B
Well she told me not to cry, said that I probably wouldn’t dieB, F# (high bar), D#
But that I ought to stay out of the sun. F#, C#, F#

So I don’t want no solar radiation
You can keep those solar panels far away
Why it’ll peel the paint right off your car
Did’ya ever see a candy bar
That was left out in the sun for just a day
Say, now I’m not listenin’ to those hippie weirdos
Or those scientific commie leftist cranks
When they come up to me, sayin’ solar energy
I’ll just tell ‘em, “Solar… NO THANKS!”

Now coal will never make you drop a baseball
And oil won’t take your dark hair and turn it light
And at a nuclear power plant well you’ll find
You can stare at the tower… you don’t go blind!
And they don’t have to close down for the night
Now I suppose those plants could have some little meltdowns
But the sun could SUPERNOVA any day!
And those panels put a drain on it,
And I don’t want no strain on it
‘Cause when it blows, you can’t just run away.
